We have two 4x4 Trails to offer:

The Mountain Trail: Grade 3–4 Rating

The Kloof Trail: Grade 5 Rating*

*No Single Vehicles allowed on The Kloof

The following Rates are available, per Vehicle:

R200.00 for Guests

Valid for the period of your stay

The Mountain Trail offers spectacular mountain scenery with views of the Golden Gate National Park and Lesotho's Low and Highlands. There are some serious rock climbs and steep ascents to conquer, taking you to the top of the world. At 2200 metres above sea level it is known as one of the highest trails in South Africa. This tough route requires sound 4x4 experience due it's technical nature, the challenge is rewarding though, providing stunning views with it's sheer beauty.

Wildlife is often encountered on both trails, with The Kloof Trail swindling along a natural mountain stream, with a picnic spot at its lowest point under an English Willow. Rebellie is the ideal setting for 4x4 clubs to visit, offering accommodation for 35 guests. For those that prefer pitching a tent, The Shed provides ample camping space, featuring a kitchen, bar, and hall, as well as ablution facilities.

The route covers a distance of 32 kilometres, takes between 4 and 6 hours to complete, with a maximum of 12 vehicles. Although Rebellie 4x4 Trails are self-drive, a trained and experienced guide are available to groups, at a daily rate of R400.00.

Our guests are welcome to bring their own Quad Bikes and Off-road Motorcycles to ride on the 4x4 trails, at a rates of R100.00 per Quad or Motorcycle. Certain restrictions does apply in terms of where and when they are allowed, and unfortunately we cannot offer this to day visitors, due to safety regulations. Mountain Bikers and Hikers are welcomed anytime, at a daily rate of R30.00 each.

Guests with Caravans and Tents are also welcome around The Shed at R100.00 per stand per day. We can accommodate a maximum of 8 Caravans or Tents, electricity is drawn from The Shed, providing ablution facilities as well.

An additional Off-road Camping Spot with basic facilities is available, only accessible by Off-road Caravans and 4x4 Vehicles.
